The International Neural Regeneration Symposium, is an international symposium organized by Neural Regeneration Research (NRR, Press), aims to promote scientific exchange and collaboration on neural regeneration research internationally.
Since 2011, INRS and APSNR has been held for successive seven years. We had over 3,100 participants from all over the world attended the symposium. Over 150 distinguished international speakers were invited to present their cutting-edge research at the joint symposium.
This year, the Joint symposium of 2018 International Neural Regeneration Symposium (INRS2018), 11th Asia Pacific Symposium on Neural Regeneration (APSNR2018), to be held in Guangzhou, China between July 27 and 29, 2018, organized by Neural Regeneration Research (NRR) and Jinan University. The preliminary program will include 9 plenary sessions, 13 mini-symposiums, 1-2 workshops and 1 highly interactive mid-day poster session. We hope that you will find the symposium to be attractive and of high scientific value. Please mark this special event on your calendars. We look forward to your contributions and participation and to meeting you in Guangzhou!
NRR was founded in 2006. NRR has been indexed in SCI-E since 2008, strives to timely publish cutting-edge articles on original experimental and clinical research, technological advances and methods, expert reviews and perspective articles related to neural regeneration in the central and peripheral nervous systems. www.nrronline.org
Prof. Kwok-Fai So and Xiao-Ming Xu, Editors-in-Chief of NRR, have organized the international editorial board of NRR made up of outstanding academic scholars from all over the world. NRR attaches great importance to rigorous peer review and rapid publication. NRR is a special journal with its mission focused exclusively on reporting exciting scientific advancement in the field of neural regeneration. The journal commits to rapid publication and publishes new papers monthly. The average peer-review time for a manuscript is about 1 month. Once a manuscript is accepted, the average publication time is about 3 months from its acceptance. For outstanding articles, a rapid publication can be arranged which will take less than a month.
Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Institute of CNS Regeneration (GHMICR) was established in Jinan University, Guangzhou, in November 2012. GHMICR has received over 50 million yuan funding from the state and Guangdong province, and has published major research outputs in top journals including Nature Medicine, PNAS, Journal of Neuroscience, Neuropsychopharmacology. GHMICR has established long-term collaboration with foreign universities and research institutes. Distinguished neuroscientists have been appointed as visiting professors for research collaboration and postgraduate supervision. GHMICR has now become a major research institute for regeneration and repair of central nervous system, including four major themes: molecular regulation of neurogenesis, repair of spinal cord injury, pathogenesis and treatment for brain injury and optical nerve injury.
